Literature Review – Self Assessment

This assignment was vert important for me because, this was my first time doing a Literature Review. I was a little bit worried because when my professor showed us the examples of other students, my jaw dropped because I saw it wat too much that we had to write. But when she said that we had to do groups it make me feel better. For me this assignment was very interesting, because we had to do a lot of research for a interesting topic related to science to write about. We choose “The Relationship Between Increased Social Media Usage and Elevated Rates of Anxiety and Depression Among Youth”, because we felt that this would be a very interesting topic because as a Youth who uses social media very frequently, I would be very interested in reading this topic. After finishing our draft for the peer review, this helped us to fix some things. Also the small feedbacks from our professors helped a lot, she told us that she really liked the topic that we choose and that it just had some minor things that we had to fix. Thanks to my group this assignment was very easy to do for us because we were all responsable with our parts so no one got lost or ran out of time to finish the essay. With this assignment I think I achieved the Course Learning Objective 4 because we build a lot of skills working in group with different opinions, the group time management was really good because we finished everything on time. Also the Course Learning Objective 8, this assignment helped to build our skills of doing research, to support our claims we had to look for articles related to our topic using the campus databases, something that I have never done before.
